The Honors Project is excited to open The Harvest House doors for the Fall 2020 semester. Doors open at 6 p.m. Oct. 1 for parent/student orientation. Light refreshments will be served. Regularly scheduled classes will be held on Monday through Thursday between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. starting Oct. 5.

The Honors Project serves 13-18 year old students registered in school in Brown County. The Honors Project is a mentoring program that helps students with career assessment & development, money management, and community engagement. Each week students will be introduced to new tools that can help them succeed.

In past semesters, students have enjoyed cooking classes, painting classes, and guest speakers from throughout the community. The Harvest House believes that when hopes and dreams intersect with experience, expertise, and compassion, outcomes are positive and lives are changed.

The Honors Project is designed to help each student prepare for their harvest. The Harvest House is located at 601 Beaver St. Brownwood, TX, 76801. Students and their families are responsible for their own transportation to and from the house.

The Honors Project is free to students. To register or for more information, email harvesthousehonorsproject@gmail.com or call Kandice Harris at 713-835-7229.
