hangingcitydecorationsThe much anticipated new static Christmas displays and the 17 new street light decorations are almost finished, but some extra hands are needed to wrap things up.

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce sent out a notice on Monday asking for some help attaching light bulbs to the new displays. All it takes is screwing in light bulbs and zip-tying them onto the frame.

All of the construction of the displays has been done voluntarily by local businesses and TSTC and now is your chance to join the community effort to make Brownwood bright and cheery this holiday.

Here are the details of when and where for those who are interested in helping out:

WHEN:

  • Tuesday 11/24 – 9am – 8pm
  • Wednesday 11/25 – 9am – Noon
  • Weekend – If you want to help over the weekend, call Derek Little at 647-5618 to arrange a time.
  • Next week – TBA

WHERE: TSTC Warehouse – in the main building located at Main & Booker Street. Enter through the Warehouse door, on the northwest side of the building.

For questions or more information, contact Emily Crawford at 646-9535 or 998-2333.
