LINGLEVILLE – Playing for the first time in more than a week, the Bangs Lady Dragons volleyball team extended its win streak to three matches with a five-set triumph at Class A Lingleville Tuesday night.
“I think we struggled some because the girls haven’t played in over a week, since last Saturday (Aug. 21),” said Bangs head coach Cheyenne Lovelady.
Maggie Morales led Bangs with 12 kills followed by Brooklyn Mullins with nine. Hadley King served a team-best four aces and Skylar Hutchins notched 30 digs.
Bangs (3-3) will host Jim Ned at noon Saturday.
