On Friday, Aug. 28, the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Intermission Bookshop. They are located in the, newly renovated, historic Queen Theatre at 203 Center Ave. in downtown Brownwood. During the opening, Kim and Brant Bruton expressed the joy in being stewards of this bookshop, emphasizing that this is a community bookshop. Kim noted that God was in this project from furniture & book donations to all of the helping hands used to organize and shape the space. The Intermission Bookshop will be open from 11-6 pm Tuesday – Thursday and 11-8 pm on Friday –Saturdays. For more information, call 325-203-5239.
