Brownwood

GOOD. Water clear; 87 degrees; 3.64 low. Largemouth bass are fair with deep diving crankbaits, jigs, and long rootbeer or plum-colored Carolina rigged plastic worms in 12-25’ near grass beds, drop-offs, and standing timber. White bass are good on slabs, swimbaits, and jigging spoons in the main lake near humps, drop-offs, and flats. Catfish have been good on prepared bait and live bait in 10-20’.

Cisco

FAIR. Water clear; 85 degrees; 4.69’ low. Largemouth bass are fair over brush piles and occasionally points on jigs, spinners, and jerk bait. Most of the bass activity is 5:30 pm and beyond. Sunfish are good on cutworms under docks and piers. Crappie are fair with jigs in shade. Catfish have been fair on stinkbait, chicken livers, and cut shad.

Coleman

FAIR. Slightly stained. 82 degrees. 1.65’ low. Hybrid stripers are good on rattle traps, and smaller spinners either see baitfish on boat equipment or with surface activity. Largemouth bass are fair casting vegetation edges and holes. Crappie are fair on jigs seeking cool structure. Catfish are fair with stinkbait and cut bait.

O.H. Ivie

GOOD. Water clear; 85 degrees; 11.37’ low. Black bass are good working the steeper fingers of the lake with crankbaits, jigs, and we’ve been trying Alabama Rigs with success. Crappie are good on jigs, especially in the shady coves in the afternoon. Catfish are good on stinkbait, live, and cut bait. White bass are fair deep below 18 feet.
