ArtAssociationLogoThe Brownwood Art Association will be hosting an “Intro to Precious Metal Clay” class on July 10-11 from 6-9pm each evening.  The class fee is $60 plus the cost of clay which ranges from $20-$100. Students will leave the class with a complete ready-to-wear pendant or earrings.

The first evening participants will create a design in clay, and the second evening they will clean and patina the finished piece. The class is limited to 10 students, and depending on the available space returning students may attend without paying the class fee. Returning students will need to pay for clay, jump rings, and bezels.

The silver clay is a commodity, so it does vary in cost. Currently a 16 gram pack is just under $35.00. Larger packs of clay are available if a student wants to make a large item or more than one piece.

For more information and to register for the class please contact Tammy Barr at (325)642-2012, or [email protected] .
