The following press release was issued Thursday afternoon by the office of District Attorney Micheal Murray regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Stephen Ellis:
*Justin Leigh Early (aka Justin Lee Early) pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Evidence and was sentenced to 9 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Early pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 22 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
* Edward Joseph Slayton pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
