Sis. Stella Louise Anderson 71 of Bangs, Texas passed away Thursday, July 16th, 2020 in Georgetown, Texas Funeral Services will be held Friday  July 24, 2020 at 11am at the New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs, TX.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Brownwood Funeral Home.
Stella was born June 24, 1949 in Memphis TN to parents Steve Gaston and Lucille Payne-Gaston.  Stella received her primary education from Memphis public schools graduation from Booker T. Washington High School.  After High School Stella Joined the United States Navy and served for 3 years.  After serving in the United States Navy she started a career with the Government.  Sister Anderson moved to Bangs in the late 90’s and worked for Bank of America for several years, and also worked for the unemployment office as a case manager, and H&R Block.  Sister Anderson along with her husband Melvin Anderson Pastored the Christ Temple Church in Brady, Texas for several years, teaching and preaching Gods word to all.  she loved to play the piano and organ and she absolutely loved to sing for Jesus.
Sis. Anderson was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Alfred Gaston, Calvin Gaston, and aunt Sally Bell Gaston.
Left to cherish her memories are husband Melvin Anderson of Bangs, TX sons; Reggie Anderson, and Andre Anderson, brother Truman Gaston of Arkansas, sister Mary Gaston of Brownwood, TX niece Melissa Gaston of Midland, TX and numerous nieces, nephews extended family and many friends.  Services entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home.  Online Condolences may be made at www.brownwoodfuneralhome.net.
