Brownwood News – According to an 8:00 am Tuesday update from the Texas A&M Forest Service, the Buffalo Creek Fire in Mills County is estimated to be 800 acres and 60% contained.  Photo shown was taken at dusk Monday evening.

On Tuesday morning, Bangs and Lake Brownwood departments were sent to grass fires on roads 585 and 192 but appeared to have those mostly under control by 10:00 am.
