oncorlogoOncor invites area residents to visit their open house-style exhibit, Ask Oncor. We Deliver. which features interactive booths tailored to educate residents on making homes energy efficient, smart meters, reporting street light outages and more. The open house will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th at the Small Business Incubator Facility/Chamber Building, 104 E. Industrial Blvd. in Early.

At this free event, attendees will receive money-saving giveaways including a free CFL light bulb for their home and have a chance to win prizes including a $100 gift card.

Oncor experts will be on hand to answer questions and guide visitors through interactive display stations including:

  • The Energy Efficiency station, which informs residents how small changes in their homes can help save energy and money.
  • Oncor’s SMART TEXAS rethinking energy station, which uses an in-home meter to demonstrate the amount of power household appliances draw.
  • The Keeping the Lights on station, which demonstrates how Oncor maintains and restores power while working with the community to keep the power lines clear of danger.

Oncor developed theAsk Oncor. We Deliver. program as a way to connect with communities in its service territories across Texas. This event provides the opportunity for residents to ask questions and receive answers from Oncor representatives. Ask Oncor. is traveling throughout the state and will visit an estimated 75 cities in 2012.

For more information or questions, contact Ken Harris, Oncor Area Manager, 325-641-4428.
