Brownwood News – As progress continues on the construction of a new Fort Worth & Western Railroad bridge crossing over US Highway 84/183 between Early and Zephyr and the widening of the roadway in this area, motorists can expect approximately 15 minute delays between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm on Friday, July 20, 2018.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane of traffic with a flagger and pilot car present to guide motorists through the work zone as the contractor sets the concrete traffic barrier rail for roadway work. 

TxDOT Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
