This Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th, the American Legion Post 308 of Bangs will pay homage to the veterans buried in Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood and the Bangs Cemetery in Bangs.  The public is invited to join in honoring Veterans on this special date.

Short tribute ceremonies at each location will consist of an opening prayer and Military Taps played on a bugle by a member of the American Legion.  The ceremonies will take place at 5:00 p.m. at Greenleaf Cemetery and at 6:00 p.m. at the Bangs Cemetery.

Greenleaf Cemetery is located at 2615 South Hwy 377 in Brownwood.  Bangs Cemetery is located at south of Bangs, Texas just off of Highway 67/84, turn onto Fourth Street and then turn left onto Ray Barnes Drive.
