The American Southwest Conference today announced its volleyball players of the week and Howard Payne’s Tamika Heline was named for the second time this season the ASC West Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Howard Payne junior outside hitter Tamika Heline (Spring Branch, TX / Smithson Valley HS) hit .324 with a match-high 16 kills to help fuel a sweep of ASC West Division co-champion Hardin-Simmons. Heline also added nine digs, three service aces and one assist. She has now taken the division’s top weekly offensive award twice this season.
