Brown County Grand Jury Returns 42 Indictments

District Attorney Micheal Murray released the list of indictments for the September 2009 session of the Brown County Grand Jury.

Overall there were 42 True Bills of indictment returned against 27 individuals.

The DA’s office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment of being sealed until the time of arrest.  In addition, names of individuals who have had not formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the DA’s office.

The following names were released by the DA’s office with the indictment.

Cameron Blake Money Possession of Marijuana in a drug free zone
Edward Joseph Slayton Robbery & 3 indictments of Unlawful Restraint
Joel Jay Slayton Robbery & 3 indictments of Unlawful Restraint
Lisa Annette Weaver Credit Card Abuse
Martin Pena Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to deliver
Ricardo Juan Sanchez Possession of a Controlled Substance
Gary Dwon Brown Assault on Public Servant
Abel Ray Perez 2 indictments of Assault Family Violence – Enhanced
Colt Laverne Ferguson 2 indictments of Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon
Rebecca Nolen Unauthorized use of a Vehicle
Theron Dale Hutchens Retaliation

Ct1. Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver

Ct2. Manufacture of a Controlled Substance

Daniel Salinas Possession of a Controlled Substance
