The City of Early swore in two of the three re-elected councilmen Tuesday evening.  Incumbent councilmen Bennie Allcorn, B.J. McCullough and Charles Matlock were re-elected after a five-man race for the three at-large positions on the Early City Council.

After the council canvassed votes cast in the May 12 elections, Allcorn and McCullough took the Oath of Office at the Tuesday, May 22nd meeting.  Matlock was absent and will be given the oath at a later date.

Elections Administrator Suzy Young was present to canvass the votes for the council positions.
