A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Southside Drive and Roselawn.

The accident was reported around 6:40pm when a passenger car and a Dodge Durango collided in the intersection.   The Durango also struck a telephone pole at the intersection.   Both vehicles sustained major damage and were towed from the scene.

Two people were transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.

No word Friday evening on the cause of the crash.

Brownwood Police, Brownwood Fire Department, and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
