Candidates in contested races for Brown County Republican offices faced off Tuesday night in a forum hosted by the Brown County Republican Party and Brown County Republican Women.

Candidates had an opportunity to introduce themselves and answer written questions from the audience at the Adams Street Community Center.

Participating candidates included:

Brown County Commissioner Precinct 1 – Tommy Blevins, Bryan Harvey, Vance Hill, Jerry Richardson, Van Wilson, and Gary Worley

Brown County Commissioner Precinct 3 – Chris Cadenhead, Richard Gist (incumbent), and Wayne Shaw

Brown County Constable Precinct 3 – C T Ham (incumbent) and Keith Varner

Brown County Sheriff – Bobby Grubbs (incumbent) and Brock Johnson

The Republican Primary is set for May 29 with early voting opening May 14th.
