U.S. Congressman Mike Conaway stopped in Brown County on Thursday to give area residents legislative updates on several issues.  The Congressman made two stops, one at the Texas Bank in Bangs and another at the Early Chamber of Commerce.

Conaway discussed topics such as healthcare, the federal budget, and the Obama administration as well as taking questions from those in attendance at each event.

Congressman Conaway is facing two challengers in the May 29th Republican Primary, Wade Brown and Chris Younts.
