A passenger van crashed into Netherton Funeral Home on Belle Plain Saturday night shortly after 8pm sending the driver to the hospital.

Brownwood police officers on scene stated that the van hit a parked vehicle next to the building as it crashed into the funeral home.  Officers state that no one was in the building at the time of the incident.

Police said that the driver of the van was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room by Guardian EMS.   The Brownwood Fire Department also responded to the scene.

No other information was available Saturday night.
