Ralph Leroy Davis

DavisRalphRalph Leroy Davis went home to his Lord on March 07, 2012. He was 86 years old and a member of Salt Creek Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Terry Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening, March 06, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

He was born on August 14, 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to the late C.R. and Minnie Bell (Clark) Davis. Ralph married in 1945 to Mildred Eva Rennehan. They were married for 61 years. He was an electrician member of IBEW for 60 years and served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later became a life time member of D.A.V.

Ralph is survived by daughter, Mary Allgood and husband Frank of Early; son, Richard L. Davis and wife Jeannie of Brownwood; brother-in-law, Bill Williams; 5 Grandchildren, Michelle Allgood, Shelia and husband Jerry Walters, Robert and wife Sarah Allgood, Rodney Davis, Ryan and wife Kyla Davis; 11 Great-grandchildren, Chris and Randi Hair, Cortney and Landon Vogel, Rayme and Rode Walters, Kasey and Mason Guidry, Jake and Laynee Allgood, and Reece Davis; 3 Great-great grandchildren, Maryn Hair, Dakota Vogel, and 1 one on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Mildred; 2 brothers, S.R. Davis, and Haskell Davis; 3 sisters, Ruby Summers, Claudine Brice, and Opal Williams, and a nephew Lewis Jones.
