Audie Lane Wisener

WisenerAudie Lane Wisener, 54, of Kingsland, Texas went home to be with the Lord, February 21, 2012. He was born to Gail Wayne and Elvera Schulte Wisener in Abilene Texas on March 8, 1957.

He worked in the west Texas oilfields as a young man, following in the footsteps of his father. At the age of 21 he traveled to South America and began his career as an international “jet set roughneck”, working in the jungles of Africa, South America and the deserts of the Middle East, He was a tool pusher, working for Santa Fe drilling, Helmerick and Payne and Nabors. He was happiest at home in Texas, fishing for big bass, living life to the fullest, always smiling. He touched the heart of anyone who met him.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sheri Snell Wisener of Kingsland, Texas, a son, a daughter and son-in-law, Brennah and David Reinertsen of Montgomery, Texas, mother, Elvera Wisener Woods of Kingsland

, Texas, sisters, Lisa Weathersby of Dallas, Texas and Mitzi Wisener of Kingsland, Texas, grandchildren, Tyler and Kaitlyn Reinertsen, nieces Randi and Nicole. He also leaves behind his constant companion, Bo.

 

A Celebration of Audie’s life will be held at a later date. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com. Cremation arrangements made by Putnam Funeral Home 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, Texas 78639 [325]388-0008.
