JendusaThomasThomas James Jendusa Jr., age 72, entered God’s light on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at his home at Lake Brownwood, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas James Jendusa, Sr. and Irma (nee Venturini) and a brother, James Jendusa.

He was the beloved husband of Joann (nee Waddell) for 52 years and father of Tami Hoefer (husband Rick), Patti Reed (husband Tom) Teri Nicolai (husband Nick) and Michael Jendusa.

He was the beloved grandfather of Johnny, Casey, Kandise, Keith, Kelly, Michael Jr., Zack, Amanda, Holly, and Benjamin.

He was the brother of Ted (wife Sue) Jendusa and DeeDee (husband Bob) Trepanier and the uncle of many much loved nieces and nephews. He is going to be sorely missed.

Tom spent 40 years of his working life as one of the top lithographers in the trade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2004, he and his wife Joann became “honorary” Texans when they embarked on their journey south for their retirement. Tom continued to work after retirement at Tractor Supply. He enjoyed his coworkers, the customers, but especially the weather.

He had a special soft-spot for animals, especially those who were neglected or forgotten, and he and Joann collected quite an assortment of strays over the years.

His family looks forward with much anticipation for a grand reunion when the Lord calls them home to be with Tom.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and will be announced.

His body was cremated under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
