Brown County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 2 PM at the Brownwood ISD Administration Building on Monday, October 3. 

Joyce Leidig of the ‘Military and Family Support Group’ of Brown County will present a program on the groups’ projects and how they help local families.  Members are asked to bring personal grooming supplies [sample size], snack items [not homemade], and anything with Texas on it that will be distributed to men and women stationed overseas.  

Members are also reminded that children’s books for the ‘Children’s Book Project’ continue to be collected and will be given to local children in December. 

Hostesses for the meeting are Molly Embrey, Linda Bessent, Karen Dodds, Judy Hays, Almola James, Margaret Lane, Roberta McShan, Cherry Sharpe, Gilda Stanford, Brenda Wilcox, and Kay Wilson.
