KERRVILLE, Texas – The Howard Payne University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-14,25-22,25-23) conference match to Schreiner University Thursday evening.

Tamika Heline led HPU with seven kills along with nine digs. Shelby Bridges and Kristin Hammond had 13 and 11 digs respectively. Hannah Hicks had five total blocks, four were solo.

Ashley Lyles led Schreiner with 12 kills and 11digs. Jaemi Groves had 29 assists.

Lady Jackets are now 4-6 overall and 0-2 in conference play. Schreiner stands at 2-8 overall. Howard Payne will play next on Tuesday at home versus Hardin-Simmons at 7:00 pm.
