The 11th Annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration is only days away, and volunteers are getting set to help for the community-wide event.

Reunion organizers held a volunteer rally on Wednesday at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center where volunteers picked up shirts, received assignments, and got ready for the weekend of fun and hard work.  Reunion Executive Director Kim Peterson said that about 1200 volunteers are scheduled to help with the event this year.

Visitors and residents can look forward to new attractions, more vendors, great music, competitions and more.  The festival will feature over 100 vendors, new rides and two food courts.

The main stage for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration concerts also began construction on Wednesday.  Attendees can expect to see headliners all weekend including Eddie Money on Friday, Easton Corbin on Saturday, and Group 1 Crew on Sunday.  Weekend wristbands to the concerts are available for $15 to access all three shows.  They will cost $20 at the gate.  Check with the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, KOXE, Wendlee Broadcasting, and the Early Chamber of Commerce to purchase advance wristbands.

The 11th annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration will take place September 16-18.  For all the details and a full event schedule for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration visit
