More than $154,000 is being donated to the family of Brownwood firefighter Shannon Stone.

The Texas Rangers broadcast team raised the money through an auction during last night’s game.

Bids were placed on all sorts of high-end items, including tickets to next month’s Texas vs. Oklahoma football game in Dallas, as well as dinner and a round of golf with former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.

The VIP Dallas Cowboys experience, which included 18 luxury suite tickets and social sideline passes to the October game against Detroit, finished the night with a leading bid of $28,500.
