ReunionCarshow09The Heartland Cruisers car club is once again organizing their Classic Car Show as one of the major events at the Brownwood Reunion Celebration.  This year’s show will go right along with the Reunion’s “1960 Come Together” theme by displaying some classic cars from the era.

“We have about 54 cars in this year’s show all from the 1960’s,” said organizer Donnie Seale.  “Most of these cars have never been in the show before.”

The car show is one of the most visited attractions during the Reunion and had more than 7000 attendees at last year’s event.  Seale said that they are hoping for even more this year.

“We expect 7000 to 10,000 people at the show this year,” Seale said.  “We want everyone to come out and have a good time.”

This year, organizers will give away a fire chief peddle car during the event.  Entries to the drawing will be $1 each.

The Classic Car Show will take place at the Brownwood Coliseum during the Brownwood Reunion Celebration at the following times:

  • Fri., Sept. 16th 5pm-9pm
  • Sat., Sept. 17th 10am-9pm
  • Sun, Sept. 18th 12-5 pm

The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the show.

Seale said that there is no cost to attend the show and everyone is welcome.
