2011Showcasesetup

The booths are ready as local and area businesses get set for Thursday’s Brownwood Business Showcase at the coliseum.

The 17th annual event will showcase a wide variety of goods and services from these businesses with 70 exhibitors in attendance.  In addition to these vendors, the 5th annual Taste of Brownwood will also be a part of the show where local restaurants, bakeries, and caterers will serve up samples of their favorite recipes.

Attendees will also be eligible to win door prizes each hour.  To conclude the show, one lucky attendee will be drawn to win a 5 night Caribbean cruise for two.

As an added bonus, The Brownwood Reunion Celebration and the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to offer a one-time only special for this year’s Brownwood Reunion main stage concert tickets.  The three-day passes to the Reunion concerts will be on sale for only $10 each and only during the show hours.  See the Brownwood Store booth at the show for all of the details.

Admission to the show is only $2.  The showcase hours are 10am – 6pm on September 8th with the Taste of Brownwood from 2pm-4pm at the Brownwood Coliseum.

This year’s show is sponsored by Songbird Lodge, Citizens National Bank, Sodexo, TexasBank, and Subway.

For more information, contact the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce at 325-646-9535 or visit their website at www.BrownwoodChamber.org.
