4-H Heads Up “Operation Supply Drop” for Wildfire Relief Efforts

4H_LogoBrown County 4-H is participating in “Operation Supply Drop” for relief efforts in the recent outbreak of wildfires in our state.
Texas 4-H is asking for immediate attention of all 4-H members, volunteers, parents and all others interested in helping those who have and are experiencing the wildfires in Texas.

“Texas is experiencing wildfires beyond anything our state has ever seen.  It’s 4-H’s Time to Help!” stated an email from Texas

4-H officials.

Donations needed include:  Cases of water, lip balm, Gatorade, high protein snacks (Peanut Butter, Protein Bars, Trail Mix, etc.).   Monetary donations are also appreciated and accepted.

Donations can be taken to the Brown County Extension Office at 605 Fisk Avenue in Brownwood or to the Texas 4-H Center located at 5600 FM 3021, on Lake Brownwood.  Please drop your donations by these locations by Friday, September 8th.
