Funeral services for Calvin Dean, 50, of Brownwood, will be held at 10 AM on Monday, September 5, in the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Kayla Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Zephyr Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, September 4, at the funeral home.

Milton Calvin Dean was born on December 4, 1961, in Brownwood, the son of William David Dean and Betty Jo Norton Dean. He attended school in Early and had been disabled for most of his life. He loved the Lord with all his heart and had been a member of Haven of Hope Church.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters; Brenda Albro of Temple, William Dean of Brownwood, Chris Bearss of Brownwood, Gerald Cantrell of Arkansas, Steve Cantrell of Brownwood, Reba Williams of Florida, Lavonna Stanley of Brownwood and Otis Dean of Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty Jo Dean.
