Law enforcement reports and arrests released Tuesday, August 23, 2011

Monday, August 22

*8:56am – Brownwood Police received a report of missing purse.  The complainant said that she lost her purse sometime between midnight and 8am, but was unable to provide a possible location.

*2:14pm – Brownwood Police received a report of a theft in the 100 block of Whaley Street.  The report states that between June 17 & 18, unknown suspect(s) entered the HPU music building and took at Apple desktop computer.

*6:57pm – Brownwood Police responded to a report of a civil dispute in the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin.  Reports state that in the victim and another subject were in a physical altercation with two unknown males.  The victim reported being struck with an unknown object causing injury to his head.  The suspects fled the scene.  The victim was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment. 

*9:50pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Crockett drive regarding a subject who left the hospital without authorization.  49-year-old Glenda Kay Cornelius of Brownwood was arrested for public intoxication as a result of the call and taken to the Brown County Jail.

*11:33pm – Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Rudolfo Reyna for criminal trespass in the 500 block of E. Commerce after being issued a criminal trespass warning for the location the prior night.  The suspect was additionally charged with resisting arrest, search, and transport after attempting to kick out a police car window.

*Bangs Police arrested 23-year-old Chance Evans Watkins for driving while license invalid.

Tuesday, August 23

*1:57am – Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of Fisk regarding subjects climbing on the Weakly Watson Sporting Goods building.  After a search of the area 18-year-old Justin Storey and 18-year-old Jerod Scott Ramirez were each arrested for criminal trespass.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
