A prayer event is scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 11th on the north side of the Brown County Courthouse.

County commissioners unanimously approved the request for the hour-long event from county resident Ava Hicks on Monday.  The event will take place that Sunday from 2-3pm.

Hicks said that prayer, music, and scripture reading will be included in the event  as a memorial of the September 11 disaster.   High Mesa Cowboy Church pastor Todd King will provide music.
