Martha Emma Krause

KrauseMartha Emma Krause was born on September 9, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Fred and Emma Serrien Thormann. On, June 26, 1949 she married Louis G. Krause at the Grace Lutheran Church in Brownwood. A resident of Brookesmith since 1949 she retired from the Postal Service as a Postmaster in 1989. Martha was a lifetime member of the Grace Lutheran Church, a member of the Grace Lutheran LWML and the Brookesmith and Winchell Volunteer Fire Department. She was an Artist and enjoyed reading and fishing. She had a sense of humor and was loved by many.

Survivors:
Sons: Larry Krause and wife Millie of Longview, Texas
Donald Krause of Early, Texas
Gary Krause of Brookesmith, Texas

Grandchildren: Jennifer Krause, Jeffery Krause, Jaimmie Young, and Jessica Krause all of Longview, Texas; Kody Krause and Kaitlyn

Krause of Santa Anna, Texas.

Great Grandchild: Hailey Krause

Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and by one brother.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 22, 2011, 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church.  Interment is Wednesday June 22, 2011, 3:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Copperas Cove, Texas.  Visitation is Tuesday June 21, 2011, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Home
