Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: May 20

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On 05/18/2026, at approximately 0820 hours, Brown County Patrol Sergeant Francisco Valencia and Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle were contacted by dispatch regarding a domestic disturbance. It was learned the dispute involved a tenant, who had overstayed their eviction date, and the property owner had forced entry into the residence in an attempt to forcibly remove the individual. A report was made for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
  • On 05/18/2026, at approximately 0915 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was notified about an abandoned boat without a trailer, which had been Illegally Dumped on the county easement of County Road 568. Deputy Reigle later learned it had been abandoned over a year ago, and an owner could not be found. Pictures were taken, and the boat was towed.
  • On 05/18/2026, at approximately 0906 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was contacted by dispatch regarding a trespassing at County Road 603. Upon further investigation, Deputy Reigle observed a broken window with a step ladder beneath it at the rear of the home. It did not appear anything had been stolen. The area was checked for fingerprints, photographs were taken, and a report was made for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
  • On Monday, May 18, 2026, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, was made aware of an Illegal Dumping on County Road 19 and County Road 149. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 05/19/2026, at 1810 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop in the block of FM 3254 on a black Hyundai for expired registration. After investigation, the driver, Alexis Tompkins, and passenger, Tyler Sikes, were taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1>=1G<4G. Alexis Tompkins was also charged with Resisting Arrest/Search Transport, Fail to ID, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Expired Registration, and Failure to Provide Financial Responsibility.
