Donna Lynn Adams

Donna Lynn Adams, 68, of Brady, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2026, at Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital in Brady. Donna was born October 15, 1957, in the Bronx, New York, and adopted by Gene Lyles and Melva Walling Lyles. She spent most of her life in Brady and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. Donna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Tarleton State University and dedicated many years of her life caring for others as a Registered Nurse and School Nurse.

She was known for her generous heart, outgoing personality, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Donna enjoyed caring for her donkeys, collecting vintage cookware. Donna especially loved singing and listening to traditional country music and spending time with her many friends in the music scene. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and took immense joy in spending time with them.

Funeral services for Donna Lynn Adams will be held at 10:00am, Saturday morning, May 16, 2026, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Interment will follow at Rochelle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. Friends may view Donna’s Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign her online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Donna is survived by her dearest friend, Charles Walton; her sons, Ryan Adams and wife Katie, and Brandon Adams and wife Heather; her sisters, Chonya Squires and husband Kim, and Nicole Linder and husband Rex; her sister-in-law, Denise Lyles; and her five grandchildren, Kade Adams, Jett Adams, Ace Adams, Cash Adams, and Molly Adams. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Doug Lyles.
