Brownwood Lady Lion senior Hannah Deen was recently named the Greater Texas Ford Dealers Female Athlete of the Month for Class 4A in the month of April.

The website states: “A true multi-sport standout, Hannah Deen has made a major impact at Brownwood High School across track and field, basketball, and volleyball, consistently performing at a high level in each.”

In track, Deen recently qualified for her third state track and field meet in the high jump, and set a new school record by clearing 5′ 8” at district. She also competed in the long jump, triple jump, 300-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4×400 relay.

On the basketball court, Deen surpassed 1,000 career points and earned District Sixth Man of the Year.

In volleyball, she recorded 180 kills in a single season, showcasing her athleticism and versatility.

Her ability to excel across three sports, combined with her leadership and consistent production, sets her apart as one of the most well-rounded athletes at Brownwood and a standout among her peers.

Established in 2023, the Greater Texas Ford highlights female high school athletes in classes 1A-6A plus eligible private school, handing out seven monthly awards in seven divisions.
