EARLY – Central Texas Farm Credit is proud to announce its 2026 Scholarship recipients, recognizing outstanding high school seniors from across our territory who are pursuing post-secondary education and building strong futures for rural communities.

This year, Central Texas Farm Credit awarded 5 scholarships totaling $10,000 to graduating seniors. The recipients were selected based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a demonstrated commitment to rural life.

In addition, each scholarship recipient was given the opportunity to select an FFA chapter or 4-H club of their choice to receive a $500 donation. This added recognition was created to celebrate the mentors and organizations that supported these students along the way.

“At Central Texas Farm Credit, investing in young people is one of the most meaningful ways we can support the future of agriculture and the communities we serve,” said Zach May, CEO. “These students have already shown dedication, character, and drive, and we are excited to support them as they take the next step in their education.”

Scholarship recipients include:

  • Kristen Wilburn, Anson High School, planning to attend Abilene Christian University to study Kinesiology
  • Kagen Logan, Stamford High School, planning to attend Texas Tech University to study Plant and Soil Science
  • Beth Kellermeier, Miles High School, planning to attend Texas Tech University to study Agribusiness
  • Spencer Martin, Haskell High School, planning to attend Texas Tech University to study Mechanical Engineering
  • Madison Moseley, Brownwood High School, planning to attend A&M University to study Agricultural Economics

Central Texas Farm Credit’s scholarship program is part of its ongoing commitment to education, leadership development, and youth support. As a member-owned cooperative, the association reinvests in the communities it serves through scholarships, educational outreach, and support of agricultural youth organizations.

Central Texas Farm Credit is a member-owned cooperative that provides financing services to farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, and rural residents across 20 counties in Central and West Texas. As part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, the association mission is to partner with agricultural producers and rural communities by providing a reliable source of credit and financial support.
