The Brown County Museum of History will be hosting its annual afternoon tea celebrating International Tea Day. As this year coincides with America’s 250th anniversary, we will be honoring our colonial roots with a Martha Washington-inspired traditional tea. Guests will enjoy a variety of delicious treats and teas inspired by the social gatherings of our original First Lady. We encourage guests to bring their appetites and to dress up for tea for a truly memorable afternoon tea experience. Falling shortly after Mother’s Day, this event will provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with mothers, daughters, friends, and loved ones while enjoying an afternoon inspired by early American traditions. Tickets make an excellent Mother’s Day gift!
Join us on Sunday, May 17, with tea seating options at 2 PM and 4 PM. Tickets must be reserved ahead of time, as seating will be limited. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for ages 12–17, and $15 for ages 5–11. For more information or to reserve tickets, visit the museum’s website at browncountymuseum.org or follow the museum on Facebook and Instagram.
