Bangs City Council, Early and Bangs school board elections set for May 2

Elections for the Bangs City Council, Bangs ISD Board of Trustees and Early ISD Board of Trustees will take place Saturday, May 2. A total of 276 ballots were cast during early voting. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2  at Early First Baptist Church, Northridge Baptist Church, First Baptist Church in Early, the Bangs Community Center, and the Brown County Elections Office. 

Three positions are open on the Bangs City Council as candidates include Carrol Wells, Eric Bishop, Greg Parrott, Douglas Drury, Danny Marney, Justin Rico and Manuel Flores Jr.

The Bangs ISD Board of Trustees will feature Blu Tidwell, Robert (R.C.) Lehman, Jason Duncan and Larry Lehman vying for two spots.

For the Early ISD Board of Trustees, Creig Prickett and Christopher Sharp are both running for Place 6, while Sandy Benson is unopposed in Place 7.
