CROSS PLAINS – The No. 7 May Tigers ran their win streak to 11 games and completed an undefeated District 7-A championship run with a 13-1 road victory over Cross Plains Friday.

May (12-1) broke a scoreless tie with five runs in the fourth inning, added two in the fifth, and scored six more runs in the sixth inning. Cross Plains tallied its only run in the bottom of the sixth.

The Tigers recorded eight hits – three by Lane Goodson, who drove in two; one by Hunter Seider, who plated three; one hit and two RBIs each from Brody Stice and Maddix Raffel; and one hit and one RBI apiece from Kobey Morris and Kaden Watkins.

On the mound, Goodson and Seider gave up a combined one earned run on eight hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Each team committed on error.
