Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: April 22

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On Friday, April 18, 2026, at approximately 0049 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Steven Trevino initiated a consensual encounter with an individual who seemed lost and intoxicated. Contact was made with the individual and upon further investigation, the individual was intoxicated under the influence of alcohol. Information was gathered, and an arrest was made.
  • On April 21, 2026, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, arrived at CR 551, to further address the public nuisance on the property. Information was gathered, a citation was issued, a 30-day notice was given, and a report was made.
  • On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 1215 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff was dispatched to Farm to Market Road 2126, Brown County, Texas 76801 for a Domestic Assault. After speaking with Angela Lynn Moreno, it was learned JERRY YBARRA, JUNIOR assaulted her. JERRY YBARRA, JUNIOR was placed into custody for Assault Family Violence Causing Bodily Injury, transported to the Brown County Jail, and released to the jail staff. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
  • On 04/21/2026, at approximately 1523 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was notified by dispatch regarding a walk-in complaint of Theft. Deputy Reigle spoke with the elderly and disabled victim, who stated someone had stolen $685.82 from their bank account in fraudulent spending. The victim had recently provided their banking information to an acquaintance regarding mechanic work. This report is for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
