
MAY – The May Tigers baseball team improved to 10-1 on the season with their ninth straight victory, 10-0 over Eula Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers scored four runs each in the third and fourth innings, and tacked on single runs in the first and fifth to enforce the 10-run mercy rule.
On the mound, Kobey Morris and Hunter Seider combined on a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and three walks.
At the plate, the Tigers collected 11 hits – two by Brody Stice, who drove in three; two by Morris, who plated a pair; two by Kayden Psencik, who knocked in one run; one hit and one RBI apiece from Lane Goodson, Kaden Watkins, and Seider; and one hit each from Cayson Dail and Maddix Raffel.
May is next scheduled to visit Cross Plains at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
