Early Independent School District is proud to announce the appointment of Amy Morris as Elementary Principal, effective July 1, 2026.
Morris returns to Early ISD in a leadership role, bringing with her a deep familiarity with the district’s culture, students, and community. Superintendent Dr. Joan Otten expressed enthusiasm about the appointment.
“We are thrilled to welcome Amy back to the Early ISD family in this important leadership capacity,” said Otten. “Amy brings a genuine love for this community and a commitment to our students that is evident in everything she does. Her familiarity with our district, combined with her leadership experience, makes her exceptionally well-suited to serve our elementary campus. We are confident that she will be an outstanding principal and a tremendous asset to our staff, students, and families.”
Morris will oversee the daily operations of the elementary campus, providing instructional leadership and fostering the supportive learning environment that Early ISD families have come to expect.
