
The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
- On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 20:38 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell spoke with an individual over the phone, who had money stolen out of her bank account. The individual stated someone transferred $1280.00 out of their bank account without their knowledge or permission. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
- On March 25, 2026, at 1344 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a fraud call to be handled via phone call. Information was gathered. A report was made.
- On Thursday, 04/02/2026, at about 1244 hours, Deputy Chris Williamson was dispatched to a traffic hazard located at FM 2126, Brownwood, TX. A 2002 red Chevrolet Suburban, bearing TX LP# SFL0111, was partially on the shoulder of the East bound lane. Brownwood Towing took possession of the vehicle and towed it to Colman Street, Brownwood, TX.
- On 04/02/2026, at 1823 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop on 279 on a gold 2003 Jeep Liberty for expired registration. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Skylar Schofield, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid with No Insurance.
- On Friday, April 3, 2026, at approximately 1549, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Steven Trevino was dispatched to a Theft call which could be handled by phone. The complainant stated she had airline miles stolen from her airline account. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 04/03/2026, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to7th St, Blanket, TX 76432 regarding a possible Burglary. Deputy Geis spoke to an Andria Stewart, who said her cousins, DESWARTE, NADINE and GELLETTE, NICOLE, entered into her mother’s home. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 04/04/2026, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to CR 594, Brownwood, TX 76801 regarding a possible domestic. Deputy Geis spoke to Billy Walters and Joy Mitchell, who said MITCHELL, KENNY RAY II had threatened Billy. Information was gathered and KENNY was taken into custody for Assault by Threat PC 22.01 to prevent any further acts of family violence. KENNY was transported to the Brown County Jail, released to jail staff, and a report was made.
- On Saturday, April 4, 2026, at approximately 2038 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Steven Trevino was dispatched to a residence on County Road 470, Brownwood, Texas 76801, regarding an Animal At Large call. The complainant stated a white pitbull tried to attack her dog. Deputies went out to the address, identified the dog, and attempted to make contact with the owner. The owner was not able to be contacted and was not present at the scene. The pitbull was transported to the animal shelter.
- On April 5, 2026, at 1304 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a Found Property call on CR 257 in Brownwood, Tx 76801. Information and pictures were gathered. A report was made.
- On 04/05/2026, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Highway 279 North, Brownwood, TX 76801 regarding a Theft of Property. Deputy Geis spoke to Tammy Mcada, who said someone has stolen her Firman gas powered generator. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Monday, April 6, 2026, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, responded to a report of an Illegal Dumping on CR 180. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:14 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell observed an abandoned vehicle in the block of Lakeshore Drive, Brown County, Texas 76857. The vehicle had been sitting at this location since 3/30/2026. The vehicle was inventoried and towed. A report was generated.
- On 04/06/2026, at approximately 1046 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was contacted regarding a Hit-and-Run accident at County Road 551 in Brownwood, Texas 76801. The caller stated sometime in the night, someone struck several stretches of fence, with damage totaling approximately $500. The suspect did not leave their information or stay on scene. Photographs were taken, and a report was made for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
- On Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 11:48 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke, #139 was dispatched to the Aldersgate property on Hwy 183 South in reference to accidental damage done to a large tractor truck. While attempting to load cardboard bundles onto the trailer bed, one of the bundles slipped from the forklift skids and damaged the truck. The truck was not moving, and the driver was not in the truck. The owner/operator of the truck requested a report completed for his insurance company. Photographs were taken, and a report was generated.
- On Monday, April 6, 2026, at 12:15 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to North US Highway 183, Brown County, Texas 76857 for a possible hit and run. The landowner believes someone backed a trailer up to his fence and cut his fence. He believes the individual(s) stole one large black cow, two dark heifers, and one baldy heifer. The total value of the cattle is $8500.00. The value of the fence was set at $2500.00. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
- On Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 14:07, Deputy Scotty Burke, #139 spoke with David Patton by phone in reference to some of his mail being taken from the shared mailboxes at Flatrock Park RV Park. Patton stated he had ordered some personalized dog tags from TEMU. He stated he was notified by email the package had been delivered by the post office. He said he went to the mailbox, and it was empty. He said this was not the first time mail had come up missing but the first time he had reported it. A case number was generated and completed.
- On 04/07/2026, at approximately 1118 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was notified by dispatch of an Assault, which occurred in the Brown County Jail between two inmates who were housed together. The suspect, identified as JUAN-MARTIN GONZALES, had assaulted another inmate while they were sleeping. Photographs were taken, and a report was made for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
- On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1142 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to Austin Avenue, Brownwood, Texas 76801 for a possible bank fraud. An individual had three bank transactions, which were not authorized. The individual was also contacted by AARON SAWYER claiming he was with the United States Marshalls. SAWYER told the individual to close her bank account because of possible fraud. SAWYER also sent a picture of his United States Marshall identification, which appeared to be fake. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
- On 04/08/2026, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to handle a Theft of Property. Deputy Geis spoke to a Hannah Chavez, who said her ex-boyfriend, ROBERTS, KOBE, stole her cellphone at Thunderbird Dr, May, TX 76857. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 04/08/26, at approximately 0934 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to Belle Plain St, Brownwood, Tx 76801 regarding a Trespassing. Deputy Fox spoke with the manager, Dillon Reynolds, who stated the owner of the property wants STOVALL, JOSHUA Criminally Trespassed. Deputy Fox had Dillon fill out the Criminal Trespass paperwork and attempted to locate STOVALL. Deputy Fox was not able to locate STOVALL. A report was made.
- On April 8, 2026, at approximately 2021 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez and Deputy Hayden Donahoo were dispatched to CR 609, Brownwood, TX in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. Deputy Sanchez spoke with Felicia Gordon (Victim), who stated she was assaulted by SHAWN GEORGE DEANS (SUSPECT). Felicia stated she did not want to press charges. Information was taken, and a report was made.
- On 04/09/2026, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to handle a Theft of Service by phone. Deputy Geis spoke to Kimberly Bownds, the Office manager for Walt Pene Trucking LLC, who claimed TAYLOR, PARKER and GREGORY, MIKKA has yet to pay for their delivery services. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
