Early Lady Horns 17, Peaster 8

EARLY – The Early Lady Horns ran their win streak to 12 games with their 20th triumph of the 2026 campaign and remained perfect in District 8-3A action with a 17-8 home victory over Peaster Tuesday.

The Lady Horns (20-4, 9-0) trailed 3-0 heading to the bottom of the second inning where they struck for five runs. Knotted at 5 going to the bottom of the third, Early tacked on its second straight five-spot for a 10-5 advantage. Peaster crept within 10-8 in the top of the fifth inning, but the Lady Horns pieced together six runs to open a comfortable 16-8 cushion, and tacked on a final run in the bottom of the sixth.

Aided by seven Peaster errors and seven walks, the Early offense also manufactured 10 hits – two each by Sydney Greaves and Jamie Lyon, who both finished with a pair of RBIs; one hit and two RBIs each from Kyleigh Caperton, Andie Simpson, and Adysn Atchley; a hit and an RBI from Sunny Groom; one hit from Paizlee Scott; and one RBI from Jamie Vassar.

In the circle, Groom worked all seven innings and allowed three earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts, seven walks and a hit batter. The Early defense committed five errors behind her.

The Lady Horns next visit Comanche at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Bangs Dragons 6, Winters 3

WINTERS – The Bangs Dragons registered their second District 7-2A baseball victory of the season as they doubled up the Winters Blizzards, 6-3, Tuesday.

Bangs (5-10-1, 2-3) led 1-0 after one inning, 4-0 after three, and 6-1 through four frames, as Winters tacked on its final two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

The Dragons drew seven walks to go along with their seven hits – two by Jaxon Duncan, who drove in one; one by Rex Guerrero, who plated two; a hit and an RBI apiece from Boyd Diaz and Jackson Edmisten; and one hit each from Connor Bible and Jonathan Edmisten.

On the mound, Trapper Estess tossed a complete-game, yielding three earned runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and one walk. The Bangs defense committed two errors.

The Dragons will host Winters at 6 p.m. Thursday to wrap up their two-game league series.

May Tigers 16, Eula 0

MAY – The May Tigers stretched their win streak to four games as they blanked the Eula Pirates, 16-0, Tuesday.

May (5-1) led 4-0 after one inning, 10-0 through two, 15-0 after three, and added a final run in the fourth.

The Tigers drew five walks, but also collected 16 hits led by Lane Goodson with three and two RBIs; Cayson Dail with three; Kaden Watkins with two and three RBIs; Kobey Morris and Brody Stice with a pair and two RBIs each; Jackson Lusk with two and one RBI; Maddix Raffel with one hit and a pair of RBIs; and Kayden Psencik, also with one hit.

On the mound, Hunter Seider and Morris teamed up to pitch a one-hitter with four strikeouts and one walk, and the May defense did not commit an error.

Next for the Tigers is a 4:30 p.m. Friday trip to Cross Plains.
