Elections for the Bangs City Council, Bangs ISD Board of Trustees and Early ISD Board of Trustees will take place Saturday, May 2. Early voting will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24 and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28 at the Brown County Elections Office.

Three positions are open on the Bangs City Council as candidates include Carrol Wells, Eric Bishop, Greg Parrott, Douglas Drury, Danny Marney, Justin Rico and Manuel Flores Jr.

The Bangs ISD Board of Trustees will feature Blu Tidwell, Robert (R.C.) Lehman, Jason Duncan and Larry Lehman vying for two spots.

For the Early ISD Board of Trustees, Creig Prickett and Christopher Sharp are both running for Place 6, while Sandy Benson is unopposed in Place 7.
