Linda Carol Parsons, 75, of Bangs, Texas passed away on March 28, 2026, surrounded by family. The family will gather privately to say goodbye, in accordance with Linda’s wishes.

Linda was born Linda Carol Price in Brownwood, Texas on June 30, 1950, to Chester and Mary Lou Price. She married Kenneth Parsons on April 15, 1966, and went on to have two children, Kent and Kaci.

Linda worked at Southwest State Bank for several years and then worked as an office manager at Hi-Way Auto Inc. from October 1996 until she retired, December 31, 2016.

Linda enjoyed retirement, being able to do all the things that she enjoyed doing on her own time. She was thrilled to spend time outside doing yard work, woodworking, sleeping in, taking trips with family and friends, and spending time at home with her dogs.

Linda was strong and resilient. She was always capable of accomplishing anything she set her mind to, enduring any battle, and always finding humor in her circumstances. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love was fierce, her loyalty unbreakable, and her presence unforgettable.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kaci Jones of Bangs, Texas; two sisters, Terry Moore (David) of Arlington, Texas, and Nancy Price of Early, Texas; five grandchildren, Kristen Wright (William) of Brownwood, Texas, Tyler Parsons (Katie) of Pflugerville, Texas, Kailey Jones of Bangs, Texas, Kassidi Jones of Houston, Texas, and Kason Jones of Coleman, Texas; nephew, Scott Moore (Angela) of Godley, Texas; niece, Brandy Benson (Bob) of Mckinney, Texas; two uncles, Billy Mobley of Stephenville, Texas, and Bill Shive (Jo) of Lubbock, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Gage, Holdyn, David, Atticus, and Lyllian; and great-nephew, Cole.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Parsons; son, David Kent Parsons; parents, Chester and Mary Lou Price; and aunt, Myrtle Mobley.

Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
