Brownwood Lady Lion basketball sisters Nylah Hall and Icess Hall both earned all-state status in Class 4A, as chosen by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Nylah Hall, a junior, was also picked to take part in the TGCA All-Star Game on July 17 in Arlington as a member of the Blue team, as well as being a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region performer.

Icess Hall, a senior, also earned TGCA Academic All-State and TABC Academic All-State accolades.

The Lady Lions posted a 28-6 record during the 2025-26 campaign – the second most wins in a single season – and reached the playoffs for the 16th time in 17 years, peaking at No. 8 in the state rankings and placing second in the final District 6-4A standings.
