
BANGS – The Bangs Dragons baseball team logged its second victory of the 2026 campaign with a 7-6 home victory over Forsan Tuesday afternoon.
The Dragons (2-7-1) led by a 3-1 count after one inning, and 4-3 through two frames, but the game was knotted at 4 after three innings. Forsan (8-6) grabbed a 6-4 advantage in the top of the fifth, only for Bangs to rally with three runs in the bottom of the frame – the final runs of the contest.
Bangs tallied six hits – two apiece from Conner Bible and Jaxon Duncan, who both doubled, and one each by Heath Laughlin and Trapper Estess. Duncan finished with a team-high three RBIs while Bible, Laughlin and Rex Guerrero chipped in one RBI apiece.
On the mound, Bible worked five innings and allowed five earned runs on 10 hits with four strikeouts and two walks to nab the victory. Duncan collected the save with two innings of scoreless and hitless relief, fanning one and walking another.
Defensively, Bangs was credited with three errors.
The Dragons are scheduled to be back in action at 6 p.m. Friday at Goldthwaite.
