Savannah Thomas, a Brown County homeschool sophomore from near Rising Star, competed at the War Hawk Classic on Saturday, where she won the Varsity Girls 100-meter dash for the second consecutive year. She finished first with a time of 12.38.

In addition to her first-place finish, Thomas placed second in the Varsity Girls 200-meter dash with a time of 25.84.

Savannah competes with the Stephenville Faith Knights Track & Field team and continues to represent Brown County through her dedication and hard work.
